Full Length Cream Curtains Can Look Stunning In Bathrooms!
If you are thinking of redecorating or revamping your bathroom this year it may be a good idea to have a look at the latest interior design trends!

The use of full length curtains in bathrooms is becoming more and more popular
The use of free standing roll-top style baths is becoming more and more popular as people see their bathrooms as a haven for peace, relaxation and distressing rather than purely for functional ablutions!
Bathrooms are no longer considered to be the smallest room within people homes, large bathrooms which can accommodate free standing baths, vanity units as well as cabinets and armchairs are becoming more and more fashionable and in trend.
Having a large bathroom definitely has its advantages! In reality many people’s homes do not allow for such extravagances, therefore making the most of the available space in your bathroom is essential. The use of corner baths, which were all the rage a few years ago are being replaced with a circular stone or resin baths which are made to look like natural stone, along with power showers which have come on in leaps and bounds in recent years in terms of both their design style along with a whole host of varying shower jets, lighting effects and even music (this is not merely a shower-proof radio hung from the old style shower rail!).
Depending on the style and the age of your home will dictate to some extent what can be achieved in terms of usable space. Victorian terraced housing which have had bathrooms added downstairs are being transformed by using a spare bedroom or part of the spare bedroom to make larger and more luxurious bathrooms.
If you have a large bathroom a whole new world of interior design is opened up before you! As the windows will be larger than a standard bathroom you have the opportunity to use either curtains or blinds, or the latest design style of using a combination of both. To make the room appear even larger it is wise to stick to neutral colours such as wintry white, ivory, or cream. Subtle injections of colour can be added with accessories if required.
Cream curtains look wonderful against a white roll top bath, using full-length cream or beige curtains give the illusion of more height and provide a sense of balance and proportion within the room. Stripped floorboards, which are either light oak or pine bring the whole design style together effortlessly.

Good article. Many of our clients with quite ‘grand’ bathroomsput up voile curtains – or gauzy type materials – especially if they don’t have the worry of being overlooked! Just finishes off a window I think. We’ve also seen an increase in large en-suite bathrooms within bedrooms. If the room really is opulent enough the bath placed centrally in the room as more of a focal point than the bed itself looks stunning.
