Why Choose Pink Curtains?

Whilst the colour pink is typically associated with femininity, little girls and all things delicate, if you select the correct shade and use darker complimentary colours such as slate grey or black you can achieve some stunning interiors to suit all styles of homes and rooms.
In the 70s dusky pink bathroom suites were in-vogue, and whilst these have been replaced by white bathroom suites pink remains a popular colour choice in bathrooms. However, the dusky pink tones of the 70s have been replaced with deeper shades, as well as neon pink to inject brightness and vigour into people’s décor!

Pink curtains with darker complimentary colours suit all styles of interiors
Pink and grey are complimentary colours, as such they can be used in any room, if you prefer not to adopt a typically feminine look you simply select the darker shades for both grey and pink, as long as the shades are the same tone the result can be simply stunning.
Opt for pink if you want to achieve a look which produces a sense of calm, warmth along with serenity. Opt for pale pink walls and select pink curtains with a complimentary colour integrated within them to create a striking focal point in your room. Select ready made curtains which also have matching tie back and scatter cushion covers to create a sense of harmony and balance in the room.
If you opt for full length curtains these will also make your ceiling appear high and therefore provide the illusion of more space.
In the bedroom paler shades of pink offer a soft and gentle romantic touch. However, pink does not have to be ‘pretty, pretty’ especially when combined with another more dominant colour. Look for contrasting colours such as plum, green or burgundy if you are looking for a more masculine look.
Despite pink being stereotypically associated with little girls, men are no longer ‘afraid’ of wearing pink! In fact in the Elizabethan era men of wealth and standing in society wore pink hose!
