There are many different ways you can incorporate this year’s on-trend colour into your home. If you prefer not to have a bright and vivid turquoise you can always tone things down a bit by opting for sherbet shades and combining it with pretty pastel pink to create a very chic and trendy bedroom.
This style is predominantly feminine, more especially if you use floaty pink curtains in sheer fabrics, however, you could opt for a couple of shades deeper to make a bedroom interior colour scheme which is has a slightly more dramatic look.
You could also make turquoise the more predominant colour and rather than have pink curtains select turquoise, blue curtains to give a more manned up feel to the room, likewise swap white for a deeper colour such as grey to create a stunning bedroom suitable for all genders and ages.

Combine turquoise with pretty pastel pink to create a very chic and trendy bedroom.
Despite people striving to get away from the stereotypical attitudes of blue for boys and pink for girls when it comes to colour schemes for bedrooms the old ways seem to have stuck somewhat! Yet with the warm sherbet colour palette it’s possible to have a chic and very stylish bedroom which incorporates use of both colours to great effect.
These colour combination would be ideal for guest rooms, as well as creating a modern look for teenage girls. By adding contrasting filled cushion the bed is easily transformed into a seating area, making it ideal for a personal space for young people to enjoy with their friends. Sleep-overs remain popular with children of all ages, therefore giving consideration to this whilst planning your bedroom you’ll be able to come up with some fabulous ideas which will be welcomed!
For young adults, you could always inject a more funky design by using bold patterned ready made curtains and coordinate them with cushions and even bedding. Funky accessories such as neon lighting will really give a new look to the room without having to completely redecorate or change the colour scheme.
Whilst these colour combinations may not be every one’s ‘cup of tea’, they are ideal for rooms which don’t get much natural light. By including reflective surfaces and mirrors a dark room can easily be bought to life and be made to feel light and airy.
